Neoplan Benefit Committee announces rule change for Texas Hold 'em tournament
Due to concerns about the possibility of violating gambling laws, the tournament rules have been modified. The following rules will apply:
The first 64 individuals who sign up will be in the tournament. As the tournament proceeds cash door prizes will be randomly awarded to the participants The door prizes will not be awarded based on whether a player wins or loses or on how well he or she is playing, rather they will be random. The door prizes will include cash equal to 25% of the entry fees, not to exceed $500. There will also be non-cash door prizes, which will be randomly drawn and given to the tournament participants.
